InterMed Discovery’s work has lead to numerous in-house generated projects, patents, and papers. At its foundation InterMed Discovery possessed over 6 patents. Since being founded we have initiated work on an additional 5 patents.
As just one example, over 1,000 bioactive Natural Products have been isolated de novo to purity and elucidated in their structure through bioactivity-guided LEAD identification since 1999. Of these a total of 30% were known structures with new biological activity. A further 27% were completely new structures.
